Stars This year's version on the ALL
LLHoops.com team presented many problems. We got some input
from some coaches, writers, and our own reporters. Just as
we did last year, we will go by position, which makes our
team a bit different than others. It also puts some who
might have made it on the second team. You'll see what we
mean. Some of our informers were worried about having enough
basketballs to go around for this high scoring
bunch! Section 2 Point
: Ted Search
(CV) 6'2" Sn. Avg 14ppg
...steady, and can take over a game
quietly if you aren't careful. Must prepare to stop him when
preparing for CV. 2 guard

very smart. Knows and understands the
game. Pure shooter, has also developed nice dribble move.

Ok, so we
can't make up our minds again. Tough to go against this guy.
A scoring machine! The junior guard already has over 1,000
points and led the Spartans to back to back Section 2
unbeaten titles. Small forward

Most underrated, under appreciated player
in section 2. Can kill you on boards. Can kill you outside.
Good all around skills. Silent assassin. Can run the floor.
Consistent. Versatile. Always seemed to make the big play,
and the right play. NEVER hurts his own team. Kept unbeaten
section 2 streak alive with tip in against Central at the
buzzer. Power Forward :
Ben Fields
(LMHS.)
6'3" Sn. Avg
19 ppg...Ben
was a transfer from Penn Manor. Led the Blazers in scoring.
Could score inside and outside. Sored his 1,000 point this
season. Center:
JD Benson (lebanon) 6'4" Sn. Avg 14 ppg ...
This kid is an ATHLETE !!! ... Active,
but inconsistent. Quality kid with easy going demeanor.
Receives a lot of cheap shots, but never reacts. Jumper.
Must account for him inside and all the break. Best dunker
in the league. Very honorable mention
: Phil Haas (etwon)
...came on strong at end of year. athletic. more
of a scorer than shooter. quality kid. John
Carcoski (cocalico) ...strong, but could be even
stronger. big body. moves well. 10-15 ft range. big inside.
athletic. smooth stroke for a big kid Jack Kenneff
(MC) ...
lefty. scorer. central had too many weapons for this kid to
be truly appreciated. Robby Okanak
(leb) ... solid with the ball. runs the show.
plays D like all lebanon pt. guards can. Dustin Salisbury (LS)

ability ... look out (D1 potential) Andy Maines (lanc
menn) ... if this kid stays eligible and out of
trouble, mennonite is a force. very athletic. slasher.
score. not much of a consistent jumper but he can hit, and
will shoot it. strong on D. Ryan Trupe, (GS)
... may be best ball hawking, defensive point
guard in our section. allows waltman to focus on offense,
and also cherry pick and leak out for cheapies.
