Vikings won the State title by blowing out then #1 Sanford 67-41. It was the school's first ever State Basketball Championship. 6'4" Soph., Paul Reynolds scored 21 in the victory.  They also defeated then #9 Hodgson 51-48 in the semifinals and then #5 Cape Henlopen 67-54 in the quarterfinals and then # 13 Tatnall 71-53 in the second round.

Lost to then #3 Christiana 51-48 in the state playoff semifinals. Won over then #8 Glasgow 55-51 in the quarterfinals and ran over unranked Salesianum 68-48 in the second round.  Also beat then #2 Middletown 50-45 in the Blue Hen Conference Title game.

Lost big to then #3 Christiana 67-41 in the State Championship game. Defeated then #4 William Penn 68-61 in the State semifinals and then #11 Sussex Central 58-54 in the quarterfinal round. Ran over then #7 Smyrna 64-42 in the second round.

Lost to then #1 Sanford 68-61 in O.T. in the State playoff semifinals. Beat then #2 Middletown 66-52 in the quarterfinals and unranked Newark 64-52 in the first round.

Beat then #6 Caravel 85-77 and lost to then #1 Sanford 58-54 in the State playoff quarterfinals.
