Darrin Bossert Cedar Crest Ed note: Cedar Crest recently hired Darrin Bossert as the new head coach for the Falcons. Check out his online interview. Enjoy. What advantages do you think CCrest has playing in section one? or do you think there is not one? The level of play is very good. It prepares you to be focused every day in practice. How was the summer with your players? The summer was very good for us in that the players were able to feel out how we will go about things this year. We were competitive in the summer leagues that we participated in as well as the summer team camp at Alvernia college. Every coach does some things different, have your players adjusted to a new system or are they comfortable with what the Falcons were running? A new system will be in place this year. It will take some time for the players to adjust and buy into what system we will run. The advantage that we have is that we graduated 10 Seniors this past year, and to put a new system in place will not be as difficult. What is your greatest challenge at Crest this season? The greatest challenge that I feel we have this year, is that we do not have a lot of playing experience at the varsity level. Out of the 10 Seniors that graduated, 9 of them recieved all of the playing time last year. Could you give LLhoops.com readers your hoops background? My hoops backround consists of being a Division 1 player at Niagara University, A PSAC and ECAC basketball official for 12 years, and an Assisstant coach at the varsity level for one year. Which teams are the teams to beat in the LL and Section 1? The teams to beat in the LL League in section 1 for us would be all of them. We need to be focused on every team in section 1 and treat every game with a sense of urgency this year for us to be successful. Thanks,

Darrin Bossert
