Profiles of the Top 12th Graders – Class of 2011

 

Trevor Cooney – 6Õ4Ó (Sanford School, DE) – A National big time recruit who is committed to Syracuse. He is the State Player of the year in Delaware in 2010. He is very athletic and a great outside shooter. He is rated in the National Top 75 by ESPNU and scouthoops.com.

 

Devon Coleman- 6Õ3Ó (FriendÕs Central, PA) He is one of the top 5 seniors in Pennsylvania.  He is a deadly outside shooter from anywhere on the floor. He is being recruited by Atlantic 10 schools including Temple and St. JosephÕs. This lefty is also a great free throw shooter.

 

A.J. English- 6Õ2Ó (Appoquinimink, DE) – He is a very quick scoring guard who led the state of Delaware with a 27 ppg scoring average. He is a tremendous foul shooter who is a Division I mid-major prospect.

 

Mark Medley – 6Õ3Ó (Tatnall School, DE) – He is definitely one of the top 5 players in Delaware. He is an excellent shooting guard who has committed to Rider.

 

Joey Gripper – 6Õ0Ó (Abington Friends, PA)- A very good point guard who makes a lot of great decisions on the floor and is a consistent medium range jump shooter. He is easily one of the best in the Philadelphia area.

 

Deon Jones – 6Õ5Ó (Sanford School, DE) – He is being recruited by Florida State and Boston College of the ACC. He has an offer from Rider. He is a nice outside shooter and good rebounder in traffic for a big guard.

 

Terrence Bobb-Jones – 6Õ3Ó (Delcastle, DE) – He is a first team All-State player who rebounds well for a small forward.  He is one of the best leapers in the Middle Atlantic Region.

 

Jabril Traywick – 6Õ4Ó (Abington Friends, PA) - He is a very athletic wing guard who can jump and draws a lot of focus. He is a Division I college prospect.

 

Shakore Grant – 6Õ7Ó (Appoquinimink, DE) – He is a transfer student from Newark High. He is a great athlete with a tremendous upside. He is very quick and can rebound in traffic.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Profiles of the Top 11th Graders – Class of 2012

 

 

Andre Horne – 6Õ 3Ó (Life Center, NJ) – He is a very aggressive offensive player who can score a ton of points in a hurry. He is one of the Top Ten Juniors in the Philadelphia area.

 

Khallid Hart – 6Õ1Ó (Sanford, DE) – He is arguably the best junior in Delaware. He is a great offensive point guard. He is the best free throw shooter in the state.

 

Tyaire Hudson – 5Õ9Ó (Hodgson, DE) – He is a good penetrator going to the basket. He is also a very good defensive player.

 

Eric Laster- 6Õ5Ó (Polytech, DE) – This young man is a big time jump shooter from 20 feet. He is a good rebounder for a wing forward.

 

Norvelle Carey – 6Õ6Ó (Red Lion Christian, DE) – He is an exceptional quick athlete who rebounds well in traffic. He has tremendous potential and is a good outside scoring threat.

 

Andre Gibbs – 5Õ8Ó (Smyrna, DE) – He is an excellent young point guard who is being recruited by Ivy League schools. The top junior in Delaware and he was an All-State selection last season.

 

Ajen English – 6Õ1Ó (Appoquinimink, DE) – He is a tremendous slasher going to the basket and is a great leaper. He is nationally ranked by SCOUTHOOPS.COM.

 

Zach Walker – 6Õ4Ó (Dover, DE) – He is a very good inside player who scores at will and is a very good rebounder in traffic.

 

Deon Edwin – 6Õ1Ó (Red Lion Christian, DE) He is a sensational scorer who can score from the perimeter and also drives well to the basket.

 

 

 

 

 

Profiles of the Top 10th Graders – Class of 2013

 

Antonio Depina – 6Õ2Ó (Polytech, DE) – He is a nationally ranked Top 75 sophomore by Prepstars.com. He is a good rebounder and inside scorer.

 

Shikei Blake – 6Õ5Ó (Howard, DE) – He is a very tough physical player who is a strong inside scorer and rebounder and he may be the best sophomore in the State of Delaware.

 

Rondae Jefferson – 6Õ6Ó (Chester, PA) – He may be the best sophomore in Pennsylvania. He has a tremendous wing span and is a great offensive rebounder.

 

Isaac Fleming – 6Õ2Ó (William Penn, DE) – He is a very improved offensive player who has a lot of confidence. He is a good outside shooter.

 

Jerrin Herring – 6Õ2Ó (Hodgson, DE) – He is a good outside shooter and is a very good foul shooter. He has very good potential to get better.

 

Rasheed Swanston – 6Õ1Ó (Red Lion Christian, DE) – He is a transfer from the Virgin Islands who played on a State Championship team and is a tremendous offensive scorer.  He has unlimited potential.

 

Austin Ford – 6Õ5Ó (Sanford School, DE) – He is a transfer from Pennsylvania and is a strong rebounder and shot blocker. He should be the starting center for the Warriors.

 

Sam Moyer – 5Õ10Ó (Wilmington Christian, DE) – He is a physical guard who likes to shoot and is a good defensive player.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Profiles of the Top 9th Graders – Class of 2014

 

Shep Garner – 6Õ1Ó (Roman Catholic, PA) – He is the best freshman in Pennsylvania and is a versatile offensive scorer. Can shoot and score from 20 feet. He is a National Top 35 freshman.

 

Anthony Mosley – 5Õ10Ó (Sanford School, DE) – He is an excellent young point guard who can score at will and is consistent 3-point shooting threat. He is a very good ball handler who makes good decisions on the court.

 

Austin Tilghman – 5Õ11Ó (St. Andrews, DE) – He is a very physical combo guard who handles the ball well and is a good outside shooter.

 

Terrell Sturdivant – 6Õ6Ó (Glasgow, DE) – He is a transfer from Pennsylvania who can rebound well and block shots. He is a very good inside scorer with tremendous potential.
